Regarding Independent School Axis Axis is a 501(c)( 3) not-for-profit company that partners with Los Angeles location independent colleges to create paths for underrepresented students and families of color to gain access to, navigate, and prosper secretive education. Independent colleges do not accurately stand for the overall Los Angeles populace, where over 70% of residents are people of shade. Via our Axis friends, we sustain students and instructors of color as they access exclusive education opportunities with our ongoing guidance. We also collaborate with Partner Schools throughout L.A. to make a long lasting and transformative impact on their variety, equity, addition, and liability (DEIA) methods. By holding colleges responsible for just how they come close to and attend to DEIA, we can achieve much better learning end results for all students while additionally preparing them to become multiculturally qualified citizens.
